Family Advocacy Support Team is a community based non-profit organization that provides free and low-cost legal representation to indigents, low and moderate income families involved in family law disputes. Such family law disputes may include divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, restraining and protective orders, and modification of visitation.
FAST currently has a Texas branch and a New York branch. With financial assistance through government grants, private grants, and donations, we hope to expand to other areas in the future.
Our Texas branch, located in the Galleria area of Houston, currently serves the greater Houston area which includes Harris, Ft. Bend, Brazoria, and Montgomery Counties.
Our New York branch, located in the Village of Catskill, currently serves Kings (Brooklyn), Greene, Columbia, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany, and Rensselaer Counties.
We recently expanded our outreach to include Kings (Brooklyn) County, New York. Our resources allow us to service uncontested divorces and other uncontested family law matters in Brooklyn. We are looking forward to expanding our Brooklyn cases in the near future. Please feel free to check back at this site to see if we've expanded to contested matters.
